Play Terminator 2: The Arcade Game Online
Blast through waves of Skynet bots as the T-800, dodging pixelated gunfire and reliving those movie moments with janky digitized Arnold lines. It’s all run-and-gun chaos—clunky but kinda charming.

Terminator 2: The Arcade Game came out for MS-DOS in 1991, published by Midway. It was a direct port of the coin-op cabinet, so it felt right at home on PCs of the era, even if the graphics and sound were a step down from the arcade original. You could tell it was built for quick sessions, not deep storytelling, and it fit right in with other early 90s action titles that prioritized immediate, loud fun over complexity.
You control the T-800, moving on rails through various levels based on the film. Your main goal is to protect John Connor by shooting everything that moves; enemies pour in from all sides, and you have to react fast. The signature mechanics are the light gun style targeting (using a mouse or keyboard to aim), occasional driving or turret sequences, and the constant need to reload at just the right moment. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike without much warning, especially in later stages. It feels like a noisy, frantic scramble where every shot counts and mistakes are punished instantly.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
