Terminator for the NES came out in 1992, developed by Software Creations. It was one of those many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the feel of a big movie on the limited hardware. You control Kyle Reese, sent back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor from the unstoppable T-800.
You move through the city screen by screen, shooting police and Skynet drones with a limited supply of bullets. Your main goal is to find and destroy the factory where the Terminators are built. The game is split between outdoor run and gun sections and a later factory level with more methodical exploration. It's notoriously difficult, with relentless enemies and scarce health pickups. Every moment feels tense, like you're barely surviving against a force designed to erase you.
