Th!nk Cross came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Max Design GesMBH. It was one of those straightforward puzzle games from the era, built for quick sessions without much fuss, fitting right in with other tile-matching and block-sliding titles that were common on the platform.

You control a cursor to slide rows or columns of tiles, trying to match three identical symbols in a row to clear them before the screen completely fills. The main objective is to keep the board manageable as new tiles drop in from the top; it starts simple but quickly demands foresight, especially when dealing with awkward gaps and the constant pressure of the rising tile stack. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty ramps up in a way that makes later levels genuinely tense. It feels focused and quietly satisfying when everything clicks into place.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
