Play The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends on Snes Online
Switching between Rocky’s awkward flying and Bullwinkle’s slippery bomb throws feels exactly as chaotic as the cartoon—Boris and Natasha’s terrible disguises included. The mini-games pop up like weird commercial breaks, for better or worse.

I picked up The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1993, a game developed by Radical Entertainment. It was one of those licensed titles that tried to capture the spirit of the cartoon on a 16-bit console, sitting alongside plenty of other platformers and action games of the era. The box art promised a goofy adventure, and that’s pretty much what it delivered.
You control either Rocky or Bullwinkle, switching between them to tackle different obstacles. Rocky flies in short, clumsy bursts to cross gaps or avoid enemies, while Bullwinkle throws bombs that slide along the ground, useful for clearing paths or hitting switches. The main goal is to stop Boris and Natasha by progressing through side-scrolling levels, each broken into smaller screens you move between. Mini-games interrupt the action occasionally, offering variety but sometimes breaking the flow. The difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially during some of the boss encounters. Playing it feels like navigating a Saturday morning cartoon where nothing ever goes quite as planned.
