Game Overview

The Astronomy Quiz is one of those old-school MS-DOS games that somehow makes learning about space feel like cracking a secret code. No fancy graphics, no tutorials—just you, a blinking cursor, and a rapid-fire stream of questions about black holes, constellations, and which planet has the most ridiculous rings (we all know the answer, but it still trips people up).

At first, I thought I knew my way around the solar system—until the game hit me with questions about red dwarfs and retrograde motion. Turns out, recognizing the Big Dipper doesn’t make you an astrophysicist. But that’s the fun part: it’s the kind of game where you fail spectacularly, scribble down notes like a mad scientist, and come back 10 minutes later smugly rattling off Saturn’s moon count.

If you’ve got a soft spot for retro trivia or just miss when games were more about curiosity than achievements, this one’s a quiet little time machine. Just don’t blame me when you start dropping random astronomy facts at dinner parties.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
