The Civil War was a 1995 MS-DOS strategy game released by Empire Interactive. You take command of either the Union or Confederate forces, managing armies across a map of the eastern United States.
You control generals and move regiments across a hex-based map, engaging in turn-based tactical battles where positioning and supply lines determine success. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
