I picked up The Flintstones: Big Trouble in Bedrock for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001. It was developed by Cryo Interactive, and it fit right in with the licensed platformers of that era. You control Fred and Wilma, each with their own abilities, as they try to save Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm from a mysterious villain.

You move through side-scrolling levels, switching between Fred and Wilma to solve puzzles and fight enemies. Fred can throw bowling balls and ride Dino, while Wilma uses her vacuum cleaner to collect items and reach higher platforms. The goal is to rescue the kids by exploring different areas of Bedrock, from lush jungles to dusty canyons. The pacing is decent, but some jumps feel imprecise, and the difficulty spikes in later stages. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes clunky adventure that relies heavily on its source material for charm.
