Man, The Honeymooners on MS-DOS takes me back. You play as Ralph Kramden—you know, the bus driver who’s always one bad day away from threatening to send Alice "to the moon." The game nails that 1950s sitcom chaos with these weird little mini-games where you’re scrambling to make rent, avoiding Norton’s nonsense, or just trying not to get chewed out by Alice. The pixel art’s charmingly janky, and half the fun is spotting references to episodes you probably watched with your grandparents.
It’s clunky in that classic DOS way, but that somehow makes it funnier? Like, Ralph’s exaggerated animations when he flips out are pure gold. And yeah, you’ll absolutely catch yourself muttering "Bang zoom!" under your breath after playing. Not gonna lie, it’s more of a nostalgia trip than a deep game, but if you ever laughed at the show, this is weirdly perfect.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
