Remember those ridiculous Itchy & Scratchy cartoons from The Simpsons? This SNES game basically lets you live out their nonstop violence in pixel form. You play as Itchy (the mouse, obviously), smacking Scratchy around with a mallet while he keeps coming back for more punishment.

The levels are these weird maze-like stages full of doors and platforms – one minute you're in a haunted house, next you're dodging stuff in a circus tent. Scratchy doesn't stay down easy though – beat him once and he'll pop back up with some ridiculous death machine, like a spring-loaded boxing glove or something. Found myself laughing at how over-the-top it gets.

You start with just the mallet, but some levels hide better weapons if you poke around. Honestly half the fun is seeing what stupid way they'll try to kill each other next. It's dumb, chaotic, and exactly what you'd expect from these two.
