I picked up The Simpsons: Road Rage for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003, a THQ release that tried to bring the console's Crazy Taxi-style gameplay to the handheld. It was a time when licensed games were everywhere, and this one aimed to capture the show's humor on a smaller screen, with mixed but memorable results.

You control various characters from the show, driving a taxi around Springfield to pick up fares and deliver them to their destinations before the timer runs out. The main objective is to earn enough money to stop Mr. Burns from taking over the city's transit system. Key mechanics include weaving through traffic, performing jumps and near-misses for tips, and navigating a condensed version of the town's landmarks. The pacing is frantic, and the controls can feel a bit slippery on the GBA's hardware, making some turns and stops more challenging than they should be.
