Game Overview

Road Rash 2 is that rare sequel that doesn’t just rehash the original—it doubles down on the insanity. You’re still racing illegal street circuits, but now the bike-on-bike violence feels even more ridiculous. I lost count of how many times I laughed after clotheslining a rival racer with a well-timed punch, only to immediately eat pavement myself when a cop clipped my back tire.

The tracks are packed with little surprises—hidden shortcuts through alleys, sudden hairpin turns that send you skidding into a ditch, and those glorious ragdoll crashes where your rider flips end over end like a ragdoll. And the soundtrack? Pure early ‘90s adrenaline, all screeching guitars and synth beats that somehow make crashing at 120mph feel cool.

What really hooked me was the upgrade system. Winning races gets you cash, but get busted by the cops too often and you’ll be scraping together fines instead. Nothing beats the feeling of finally saving up for that nitro-boosted superbike… right before some jerk with a chain knocks you into oncoming traffic. It’s messy, chaotic, and still one of the most fun racing games ever made.
