What really hooked me was the upgrade system. Winning races gets you cash, but get busted by the cops too often and you’ll be scraping together fines instead. Nothing beats the feeling of finally saving up for that nitro-boosted superbike… right before some jerk with a chain knocks you into oncoming traffic.
