Play The Tracer Sanction Online
You wake up mid-mission with a silenced pistol and bad intel—sneak through flickering office hell while guards complain about overtime, praying your last save wasn't too far back. Mess up and the whole building comes down on you in a hail of shotgun shells and klaxons.

The Tracer Sanction came out in 1984 for MS-DOS, published by Activision. It was part of that early wave of PC games where you got a lot of atmosphere from very simple graphics and text. You played a spy, dropped into a high-tech facility with a job to do, and the whole thing felt like a digital ghost story.
You control an agent infiltrating a corporate complex, moving screen by screen through offices and labs. Your main objective is to retrieve data tapes while avoiding or eliminating guards. Key mechanics include using a silenced pistol for stealthy takedowns, hacking terminals to disable security systems, and carefully managing your limited inventory of tools. The pacing is tense and deliberate; mistakes are punished quickly, often resetting you to an earlier save. It feels like a tight, claustrophobic puzzle where every noise matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
