Play The Yukon Trail (Windows 3.1) Online
Start broke in Seattle, pick a partner who might save or ruin you, then juggle supplies and sketchy ferries before the trail chews you up—bandits, injuries, and your own bad math included.

The Yukon Trail came out in 1994 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by MECC. It was a product of its time, a straightforward educational adventure that ran on the computers many of us had in school or at home, offering a slice of the Klondike Gold Rush without the need for powerful graphics.
You control a prospector starting in Seattle with little more than ambition. Your goal is to reach Dawson City and strike it rich. The game plays out through screen by screen navigation, where you manage your supplies, hire a partner, and choose your route carefully. You'll face constant threats like illness, harsh weather, and bandits, all while trying to keep your funds from running out. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, forcing you to weigh every decision. It feels like a constant, tense calculation against the wilderness.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
