I first played Theme Park Mystery back in the early 90s, a 1990 release from Kemco for MS-DOS. It was one of those point-and-click adventures that felt right at home on the platform, sitting alongside other story-driven games that relied more on puzzles and atmosphere than on fast action. You play as a detective, called in to investigate a series of strange accidents at a local amusement park, and the setup immediately pulls you into its slightly eerie, off-kilter world.

You control the detective from a first-person perspective, moving screen by screen through the park's various attractions. The core of the game involves exploring each area meticulously, collecting items for your inventory, and talking to a cast of suspicious characters to gather clues. You'll combine objects to solve environmental puzzles and present evidence to witnesses to progress the story. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, demanding patience as you scrutinize every pixel for a hint. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
