Play Third Reich Online
Moving panzers through snow and mud, watching your supply lines stretch too thin—one bad gamble and suddenly Moscow feels very far away. Hex by hex, the war slips through your fingers.

Third Reich, released in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series by The Avalon Hill Game Company, was a serious wargame for its time. It arrived when complex strategy titles demanded patience and careful planning, fitting right in with other thoughtful simulations on the platform.
You control the Axis or Allied forces across the entire European theater of World War II, managing armies, production, and supply lines. The main objective is to achieve strategic victory by capturing key cities and breaking enemy morale through large-scale offensives. Signature mechanics include moving units across a hex-based map, planning multi-turn operations, and managing limited resources that dictate your ability to sustain attacks. The pacing is deliberate, often slow, with the difficulty stemming from unpredictable enemy responses and the sheer scale of logistics. It feels like conducting a precarious, high-stakes military campaign where every decision has lasting consequences.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
