Thunderchopper came out in 1987 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by SubLOGIC. It was a straightforward action game for its time, fitting right in with the era's focus on simple controls and immediate, often punishing, challenges. You pilot an attack helicopter through a side-scrolling landscape, destroying enemy tanks, boats, and aircraft with a forward-firing minigun. Your main objective is to survive as long as possible, racking up points while navigating canyons and avoiding a relentless barrage of incoming missiles. The signature mechanics involve precise dodging, managing your limited fuel supply, and timing your attacks to clear paths through heavily fortified areas. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
