Game Overview

Time Race_DiskA is one of those classic Amiga games that feels like it was made in someone’s basement—in the best way possible. You’re basically racing against the clock, dodging obstacles and trying not to wipe out while the screen scrolls way too fast for comfort. The controls are simple, but the difficulty spikes hard after the first few levels, and before long, you’re yelling at the screen because you missed a turn by half a pixel.

The graphics are charmingly rough, all jagged edges and bright colors, and the soundtrack is just a relentless beep-boop loop that somehow gets stuck in your head anyway. It’s the kind of game where you swear you’ll quit after one more try, but then suddenly it’s been an hour and you still haven’t beaten your high score. If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the real thing, it’s worth a few chaotic playthroughs.
