Alright, so TMNT on the DS is basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you pick your favorite turtle—Leo with his swords, Raph with the sais, you know the deal—and bash your way through waves of Foot Clan goons. The touchscreen stuff is kinda neat for special moves, though I mostly stuck to the buttons because muscle memory.
What surprised me was how good it feels to just wreck enemies with combos. Donnie's staff has this satisfying reach, and Mikey's nunchucks are faster but you gotta get in close. There's a versus mode too if you wanna fight a friend, though good luck agreeing on who gets to be Raphael.
It's not super deep, but if you just wanna feel like a pizza-loving ninja for 20 minutes, this does the job.
