Game Overview
Tomodachi Collection is this weirdly addictive little life sim where you populate an island with Miis—your friends, celebrities, or just random weirdos you make up. At first, it feels like a silly dollhouse: you dress them up, give them dumb catchphrases, and watch them bicker over who ate the last banana. But then suddenly you're invested in whether your Mii version of your dad finally confesses his love to the Mii version of your math teacher.
The interactions are bizarrely charming—they’ll burst into song, get into petty fights, or develop sudden obsessions with rubber ducks. There’s no real goal, just vibes, but somehow I lost hours arranging disastrous blind dates or laughing at how badly my Miis butchered the karaoke minigame. It’s like Animal Crossing’s chaotic cousin, if your villagers were all your inside jokes come to life.
Fair warning: the Japanese text can be rough if you don’t know the language, but half the fun is guessing why your Mii is suddenly holding a protest sign or crying in a corner. You’ll either bounce off it immediately or accidentally play until 3 AM.
