Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2002, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was part of that wave of ambitious console-to-handheld ports, trying to squeeze a big experience onto a small screen. You got a surprisingly complete version of the game, with all the pro skaters and most of the levels from the home console release, just rendered in that distinct GBA style.
You pick a skater and try to complete goals within two minute runs. The main objectives are classic Tony Hawk stuff; you hunt for high scores, collect letters to spell SKATE, and find the hidden tape in each level. The signature mechanics are pulling off trick combos by chaining grinds, manuals, and flips, plus using the revert to keep your multiplier going. The pacing is fast, and the isometric view makes landing some tricks a real test of timing. It feels like a condensed, frantic version of the skateboarding chaos you remember.
