I picked up Toy Story 3 for the Nintendo DS back in 2010, a game published by Disney Interactive Studios. It was a solid little title for the handheld, fitting right in with the platform's library of family-friendly adventures during that era. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it captures the spirit of the film pretty well.

You control Woody and Buzz Lighteye, switching between them to navigate through various themed levels. The main goal is to rescue your captured toy friends from the daycare center. You'll do a lot of screen-by-screen exploration, jumping across platforms, and solving environmental puzzles that often require both characters' unique abilities. There are also mini-games sprinkled throughout, like piloting Buzz's ship or riding a skateboard, which break up the pacing. The difficulty is fairly gentle, aimed at younger players, but it stays engaging thanks to the variety. It feels like a straightforward, cheerful adventure that makes good use of the DS hardware.
