Game Overview

Treasure Island on MS-DOS is one of those games that somehow sticks with you—probably because it doesn’t try too hard. You start with a basic map, a few cryptic clues, and this weirdly satisfying sense that you’re about to get wrecked by something as simple as a falling coconut or a sneaky pit trap. The pixel art is charmingly janky, and the sound effects? Pure 8-bit nostalgia.

What I love is how it doesn’t hold your hand. One minute you’re hopping over quicksand, the next you’re staring at a riddle that makes zero sense until you realize the answer was in the background the whole time. It’s got that old-school trial-and-error vibe where dying feels fair (mostly) and solving something actually makes you grin. If you’ve got a soft spot for games that reward patience over reflexes, this one’s a blast from the past worth revisiting.

Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour to digging in the wrong spot.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
