U.F.O Tracker is one of those weird little DOS games that somehow sticks with you. You’re basically Mulder from The X-Files, but with way worse graphics—just a pixelated radar screen and a cursor scanning for blips. When a signal pops up, you’ve gotta lock onto it fast before it vanishes, then piece together whether it’s a weather balloon (boring) or something actually alien (way more exciting).
The controls are janky in that classic early-'90s way, but that’s part of the charm. Half the time, you’re squinting at static-y transmissions trying to decode them, and the other half, you’re just hoping your clunky tracker doesn’t lose the signal. It’s surprisingly tense for something so simple.
If you’ve got a soft spot for retro games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect flashy cutscenes—the mystery’s all in your head. And honestly? That’s what makes it work.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
