Uber Sonic Scene Creator is one of those classic Flash games where you just slap together your own Sonic scenes like a digital diorama. You start with a blank screen and suddenly you're dragging in loops, palm trees, and little pixel Sonics doing their thing, it's oddly satisfying, like playing with virtual action figures.
There are five zones to pick from (Angel Island's my go-to), and the sprites are ripped straight from the Genesis games, so everything looks legit. At first, I just dumped a bunch of stuff randomly, but after a few minutes, I was actually trying to recreate bits of Hydrocity Zone like some kind of Sonic historian. The controls are janky in that old-Flash way, but hey, it's free nostalgia.
Honestly, half the fun is making ridiculous scenes, like putting a drowning Sonic in Ice Cap or stacking badniks into a tower. It's simple, but if you grew up with these sprites, it hits different.
