Game Overview
Udoiana Raunes is one of those weird little MS-DOS games that somehow sticks with you—like finding a VHS tape of a movie no one else remembers, but you can't stop rewinding. The pixel art is rough in that charming early-'90s way, and the puzzles don’t hold your hand at all. I got stuck in the first dungeon for way too long before realizing the solution was hiding behind some flickering tiles.
It’s got that perfect mix of exploration and "wait, how does this even work?" moments. One minute you’re pushing blocks, the next you’re dodging these floating… eyeball things? The controls take a second to adjust to (because, you know, DOS), but once it clicks, you’ll be hooked. If you miss games that just throw you in without tutorials or care about your feelings, this one’s a blast from the past.
Fair warning: save often. The game doesn’t always play fair, but that’s half the fun.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
