Oh man, Ulises—this weird little MS-DOS adventure game from back in the day still sticks in my brain. You're this little pixel guy wandering through these surreal, puzzle-filled screens where nothing makes sense at first. I remember spending way too long trying to figure out how to get past a sleeping goat by combining random items from my inventory.
The art has that janky-but-charming early '90s look, and the puzzles are just the right kind of frustrating—the solutions feel obvious after you finally get them. It’s got that same vibe as when you’d play Monkey Island as a kid and feel like a genius for using a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle.
No quest markers, no hints—just you, your terrible pixelated mustache, and a notebook full of scribbled clues. Half the fun is walking into a scene and realizing the weird background detail you ignored three screens back is actually the key to everything. If you miss that era of adventure games where everything was trial, error, and pure stubbornness, this one’s a blast.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
