Play Undercover Cops (Japan) Online

Pick a brawler, smash punks through neon-lit storefronts, and pull off ridiculous special moves—this is Final Fight cranked up with cyberpunk chaos. The pixel art alone, all sparks and flying goons, makes every punch feel like a scene from an ‘80s anime.

Game Overview

Undercover Cops on SNES is one of those beat 'em ups that somehow flew under the radar, which is wild because it’s basically Final Fight on a cyberpunk bender. You pick from three bruisers—each with their own ridiculous special moves—and just start wrecking neon-lit streets full of goons. The first time I triggered a piledriver on some poor thug, I couldn’t stop grinning.

The pixel art is pure chaos in the best way: sparks fly, enemies go flying through store windows, and everything has this grimy, hyper-detailed look straight out of an ‘80s OVA. The soundtrack? All synths and bass, like someone fused a cop drama with a cybernetic fever dream.

It’s easier than the arcade original, sure, but that just means you can actually enjoy the madness without rage-quitting. Grab a friend for couch co-op, because elbow-dropping cyborgs together never gets old. This is the kind of game you play at 2 AM with junk food scattered everywhere.
