Play Universal Soldier on GB Online
You blast through levels as JCVD with stiff jumps and clunky controls—basically Turrican II wearing a bad action movie skin. It’s janky but weirdly charming if you dig old-school run-and-gun chaos.

Universal Soldier on the Game Boy is basically Turrican II in disguise—just with Jean-Claude Van Damme’s face plastered all over it. You run, gun, and occasionally jump awkwardly (this is a Game Boy platformer, after all) while fighting through waves of enemies. The sprites got a quick reskin to match the movie, but don’t expect any deep storytelling—those cutscenes got the axe.
It’s not terrible if you’re into run-and-gun action, but you’ll definitely feel the limitations of the hardware. The controls are a little stiff, and some of the level design feels like it wasn’t meant for this kind of game. Still, if you’re a Van Damme fan or just love weird licensed games, it’s an interesting little relic.
