Dodging traffic in a purple buggy, jumping over cars to land on them—just when you think you’ve got the rhythm, the road tilts and sends you flying off a bridge. Grab all 10 flags before they loop back.

Game Overview
Up'n Down is one of those old-school MS-DOS racers that somehow makes driving a single purple buggy feel way more intense than it should. You’re basically just cruising up and down hills, dodging traffic, but the pseudo-3D perspective gives it this weirdly immersive vibe for its time.
At first, I thought it was just about switching lanes and not crashing—but nope, you’ve got to jump over cars (or land on them for extra points, which feels oddly satisfying). The real goal is grabbing 10 colored flags, and if you miss one, don’t worry—it’ll loop back around. The roads tilt and dip, so you’re constantly adjusting speed, and those bridges? Yeah, you’d better hit the jump button or you’re taking a swim.
It’s simple, but the way everything moves makes it way more chaotic than you’d expect. One wrong move and your buggy’s toast. Definitely one of those games where you keep saying “one more try” until you realize an hour’s gone by.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
