Play Urbz - Sims In The City, The Online
You customize a streetwise character, then hustle through grimy districts doing sketchy gigs—scratching lottery tickets, yelling into the mic during fights, or just passing out in alleys when you bail on responsibilities.

The Urbz: Sims in the City came out for the Nintendo DS in 2004, developed by Maxis. It was part of that early wave of DS games that tried to do something different with the dual screens and touch controls, moving the life simulation genre out of the suburbs and into a more stylized, urban setting.
You control a custom character trying to build a reputation in a new city. Your main goal is to climb the social ladder by completing jobs and missions for different factions, like the Black Eyed Peas' crew or the corporate suits. Key mechanics include navigating the city screen by screen to find odd jobs, using the touch screen for minigames like scratching lottery tickets or dancing, and managing your character's mood and relationships on the fly. The pacing is fairly brisk, with constant small tasks to complete, and it can be challenging to keep your character's needs met while grinding for cash and rep. It feels like a chaotic, slightly janky scramble to make it in a city that doesn't care if you sleep in an alley.
