Game Overview

Vector Championship Run is one of those Amiga games that looks simple at first—just a wireframe racer where you dodge obstacles—but it gets weirdly intense. The tracks twist and turn in ways that feel impossible until you memorize them, and the controls have this slippery precision that makes every near-miss satisfying. At first, I kept crashing into walls because the perspective tricks you, but after a few runs, you start leaning into the turns like it’s second nature.

The soundtrack’s this synth-heavy pulse that somehow makes even the practice laps feel dramatic. And yeah, it’s all polygons and neon outlines, but there’s something hypnotic about how clean it looks when you hit top speed. You’ll either love how unforgiving it is or rage-quit after the third sharp corner. I did both.
