Play Vette! Online
Pick your Corvette and blast through 90s San Francisco—no rules, just dodging traffic and outrunning cops while that janky helicopter cam makes you feel like a getaway driver.

Vette! came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Spectrum Holobyte. It was one of those early driving games that tried to capture the feel of arcade racers on home computers, back when 3D graphics were still rough and driving physics were more about fun than realism.
You control a Corvette from a top-down perspective, weaving through traffic in a city based on San Francisco. The main goal is to outrun the police while avoiding collisions with other cars; you can also pick up fuel and repair icons to keep going. The camera follows your car from above, which gives a clear view of the road but makes sharp turns tricky. The game moves fast, and the police cars get more aggressive as you play, creating a tense, almost frantic pace. It feels like a straightforward, high-speed chase where every mistake costs you.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
