Wario’s up to his usual greedy antics in Master of Disguise, but this time he’s got a magic wand and a whole wardrobe of ridiculous costumes. One minute he’s a thief sneaking past lasers, the next he’s a buff superhero punching through walls—it’s chaotic in the best way. The puzzles actually make you think about which disguise to use, and some of the later ones get pretty clever (though Wario’s terrible Italian accent never stops being funny).
It’s got that classic DS charm—weird touchscreen gimmicks included—but the platforming holds up, especially when you’re swapping outfits mid-jump to avoid spikes. Just don’t expect it to take itself seriously for a second. Wario’s here to steal treasure and crack dumb jokes, and honestly? I respect that.
