Game Overview
Wario—Master of Disguise is one of those weird, chaotic DS games that only Wario could pull off. You start by watching him crash a TV show about a thief, immediately stealing the guy’s magic wand because, well, that’s what Wario does. The wand lets him transform into different disguises by scribbling symbols on the touch screen—draw a helmet around his head, and boom, he’s Cosmic Wario blasting lasers. Draw a canvas, and suddenly he’s an artsy version of himself, sketching blocks to climb on. It’s ridiculous in the best way.
The levels are packed with treasure chests that trigger random mini-games (some are fun, some make you groan), and beating them unlocks new disguises or collectibles. Enemies drop colored gems that boost your abilities, and each episode ends with a boss fight where you’ve gotta cycle through disguises to win. It’s messy, over-the-top, and exactly what you’d expect from Wario’s brand of greedy, slapstick chaos.
