Game Overview
WarioWare: D.I.Y. is basically Wario’s chaotic energy distilled into a game-making toolkit. You still get those frantic microgames—you know, the "wait, why am I plucking nose hairs in 3 seconds?" kind—but now you can make your own too. The first time I tried, I cobbled together something embarrassingly simple, but after messing around with the tutorials (which are surprisingly thorough), I was scripting weird little challenges like "dodge the flying toast" or "balance the wobbly cat."
If you’re like me and can’t draw to save your life, there’s a ton of pre-made assets to borrow from. The music editor’s oddly addictive too—I spent way too long making chiptune versions of random songs. And yeah, you can share your cursed creations online, which is either amazing or terrifying depending on what your friends come up with.
It’s half game, half creative sandbox, and 100% Wario-brand nonsense. Just don’t blame me when you start dreaming in microgames.
