The handling’s still that perfect mix of slippery and precise—you’ll be grinding against walls at 500mph until you learn to feather the air brakes. And yeah, you can blast opponents with missiles and plasma bolts, but Piranha’s finally packing heat this time, which changes the whole dynamic. The new tracks are wild too, especially that one with the corkscrew drop that makes your stomach flip even on a tiny CRT.
Best part? Four-player split-screen. It’s chaotic, the framerate chugs when things get messy, and someone always picks the overpowered special weapon. In other words: perfect for a pizza-and-soda night with friends. Just try not to throw your controller when you get hit by a quake at the finish line.
