Game Overview

Man, Wolfsbane—this one takes me back. Booted it up on my old DOS rig and immediately got hit with that grainy, gothic vibe. You're some lone warrior swinging a sword through moonlit castles and foggy graveyards, and yeah, werewolves jump out at you a lot. The controls are stiff in that classic way—you commit to every swing, and if you mistime it, good luck.

It’s got that Ghosts 'n Goblins energy where everything wants to murder you, but the pixel art is weirdly gorgeous for its time. Those flickering torches and howling wind sounds? Pure atmosphere. I died about ten times on the first level before figuring out the rhythm, but when you finally chain a few perfect jumps and kills together? Chef’s kiss. Not for the faint of heart, but man, it sticks with you.

Still holds up if you’ve got the patience for retro punishment.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
