Worms: Open Warfare 2 came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2007, developed by Team17 and published by THQ. It was one of the better multiplayer experiences on the PSP at the time, letting you carry a full-featured version of the series in your pocket. The game didn't try to reinvent the formula; it just delivered exactly what fans expected from a portable Worms title.

You control a team of worms, taking turns with opponents to eliminate each other using a huge arsenal of weapons. The main goal is to be the last team standing. Signature mechanics include navigating fully destructible terrain and using weapons like the Holy Hand Grenade or the concrete-dropping Air Strike. Matches are methodical but chaotic, with every move carrying the risk of accidentally harming your own squad. It feels satisfying to pull off a perfectly aimed bazooka shot or watch an enemy worm plunge into the water after a well-placed explosion.
