Play X-Men - The Official Game (U)(Trashman) Online
Switch between Wolverine’s slashing, Iceman’s ranged shots, and Nightcrawler’s janky-but-fun teleports across beat-em-up levels that occasionally throw in some platforming. The pixel art’s serviceable, and swapping heroes keeps the button-mashing fresh.

X-Men: The Official Game came out on Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by WayForward Technologies. It was one of those licensed tie-ins that showed up around the movie's release, fitting right into the GBA's library of action platformers. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it does a solid job of translating the X-Men into a portable format.
You control Wolverine, Iceman, and Nightcrawler, switching between them to fight through waves of enemies across linear levels. Each character has a distinct play style: Wolverine slashes up close, Iceman fires projectiles from a distance, and Nightcrawler can teleport short distances to navigate gaps or ambush foes. The main goal is to clear each screen of enemies before moving forward, with some light platforming and occasional switches to hit. The pacing is straightforward, though the difficulty can spike in later stages. It feels like a competent, no-frills brawler that makes decent use of the license.
