Yogi Bear for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1994, developed by Kemco. It was one of those many licensed platformers that filled the shelves back then, based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon. You don't hear much about it now, but it was a solid attempt to bring the character's antics into a playable form.

You control Yogi Bear, moving screen by screen through Jellystone Park. Your main goal is to collect a set number of picnic baskets on each stage while avoiding the park rangers. The signature mechanics involve using Yogi's springy jump to bounce on enemies and a sneaking crawl to get past hazards. The pacing is fairly slow and deliberate, with a moderate difficulty that comes more from careful timing than pure reflex. Playing it feels like guiding a cheerful, bumbling bear through a series of predictable but pleasant cartoon mishaps.
