Game Overview

Z is one of those weird, stripped-down RTS games from the DOS era that somehow sticks with you. No base building, no resource farming—just you and your little red robots duking it out with the blue guys over control points. The whole game revolves around grabbing flags to claim territory, then scrambling to fortify them before the enemy comes knocking.

At first, it feels almost too simple, but then you realize how sneaky the AI is. Lose a couple sectors because you got greedy pushing forward, and suddenly your production’s cut off. The maps are small enough that every skirmish matters, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your bots march in perfect formation to swarm a radar tower.

It never got as much love as Command & Conquer back in the day, but Z’s pure focus on map control makes it way more intense than it looks. Just don’t blame me when you start muttering “sector lost” under your breath hours later.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
