Zipman III is one of those games from the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a release that bundled a lot of forgotten shareware and demos from that era. I don't recall who originally made it, but it fits right in with the kind of fast, unforgiving platformers that were common back then, the sort you'd get on a floppy disk from a friend.

You control a small, agile character who has to navigate a series of single-screen rooms filled with instant-death spikes, moving platforms, and enemies that follow set patterns. The main goal is simply to reach the exit in each stage, but getting there requires precise jumps and clever timing, often using enemies to trigger switches or block hazards. A constant timer counts down, adding pressure and forcing quick decisions; if it hits zero, you lose a life. The difficulty is relentless, with each new stage introducing more complex enemy placements and narrower platforms. Playing it feels like a tense, frantic puzzle where every move has to be calculated seconds in advance.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
