Game Overview
Remember that weirdly charming PBS show with the lemur? Yeah, this is the Game Boy Color version, and it’s exactly as goofy as you’d expect. You play as Zoboomafoo, bouncing around Zobooland trying to track down missing Animal Friend Cards—because of course they’re missing.
It’s a simple platformer with some light puzzle bits—helping Phibby find her favorite snack (Boca Nuts, apparently) or hopping across lily pads. The levels are short and colorful, perfect for killing time on a car ride. Not gonna lie, the controls feel a little stiff now, but the nostalgia hits hard when you hear that midi version of the theme song.
Definitely a relic of early 2000s kids’ games, but in a way that’s oddly comforting.
