Game Overview

Zombie Apocalypse came out for the Amiga in 1992, published by Epic Marketing and developed by Stax. It was one of those mouse-driven shooters that felt right at home on the platform, a straightforward arcade-style experience that didn't try to overcomplicate things.

You control a survivor from a top-down perspective, moving with the mouse and firing with the left button or tossing grenades with the right. Your goal is simple: clear each screen of a set number of zombies before you can move on. Ammo is limited, so you have to grab red and green boxes that drop from the sky to restock bullets and grenades. The pacing is relentless, with grenade-throwing enemies adding to the pressure, and it feels tense and immediate as you fight to stay alive.
