Game Overview

Man, Zorro on MS-DOS takes me back—this game had no business being this good for its time. You start off slashing your rapier at some goon in a pueblo, and within minutes you're leaping over rooftops, carving your signature "Z" into walls, and rescuing villagers like some kind of pixelated folk hero. The swordplay feels surprisingly tight once you get the hang of parrying, though good luck figuring out the timing on your first try.

It’s got that classic "figure it out yourself" energy—no tutorials, just you, a health bar, and a whole lot of guards who really don’t like capes. The music? Unreasonably catchy for something made of beeps. And yeah, the graphics are obviously dated, but there’s charm in how expressive Zorro’s little sprite is when he flourishes his sword. If you ever wasted afternoons on Prince of Persia or wished Robin Hood had more Spanish guitar, this one’s a blast from the past worth dusting off.

Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one jump in the mission with the bell tower.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
