2 In 1 - Sonic Advance & Sonic Battle is one of those GBA carts that feels like two completely different games jammed together. Sonic Advance plays like a classic 2D Sonic game—fast, bright, and full of loops and springs that send you flying. The first few levels ease you in, but by the third zone, you're bouncing off walls at ridiculous speeds.
Then there's Sonic Battle, which is this weird but fun fighting game where you build a team and duke it out in small arenas. The controls take some getting used to, and the AI can be frustratingly cheap at times, but there's something satisfying about landing a perfectly timed combo.
It's not perfect—Sonic Advance feels smoother than Battle, and the transition between the two is jarring. But if you're into both platforming and brawlers, this cart gives you a solid dose of each.
