Game Overview

I first played 7 Colors back in the early 90s, a simple but sharp puzzle game from Gamos Ltd. that ran on just about any MS-DOS machine. It was the kind of game you'd find on a shareware disk, a clever time-waster that felt right at home in an era of straightforward, single-screen challenges.

You control a small wizard who starts in one corner of a grid filled with colored tiles. Your goal is to conquer the entire board by changing the color of your territory, one section at a time. Each turn, you pick a new color from a limited palette; your domain expands to include all adjacent tiles of that shade. The computer opponent does the same, often snatching the color you needed just before your turn. The game starts calmly but quickly becomes a tense battle of area control and prediction. It feels like a quiet, thoughtful duel that suddenly demands your full attention.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
