Play Air Bucks Online
Start with a couple of rusty prop planes, then sweat over fuel prices and route wars as your pixelated airline empire grows—one risky jet purchase at a time.

Air Bucks came out in 1992 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Maxis. It was a time when business sims were finding their footing on PC, offering a different kind of challenge from the action and adventure titles that dominated the scene. You weren't saving the world; you were just trying to keep a company solvent.
You control an airline startup, managing everything from buying planes and setting ticket prices to plotting routes between cities. The main objective is to outmaneuver rival airlines and dominate the market. Key mechanics involve bidding for lucrative airmail contracts, adjusting fares to match demand, and carefully monitoring your fleet's maintenance to avoid costly disasters. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical, demanding more spreadsheet focus than quick reflexes. It feels like a tense, high-stakes chess match played with balance sheets and flight paths.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
