Game Overview
Air Combat is one of those classic arcade shooters that still holds up—you jump straight into the cockpit, throttle forward, and suddenly you're weaving through clouds while enemy fighters swarm in from all sides. The controls are simple (bank left, bank right, shoot everything), but dodging missiles while lining up a perfect shot on that bomber feels way more satisfying than it should.
What I love is how chaotic it gets—one second you're calmly picking off targets, the next you're barrel-rolling through a hail of flak with your engine smoking. The pixel explosions and chunky sound effects give it that perfect '90s arcade vibe. Just don't get too cocky—those later levels will chew you up if you don't watch your six.
