It’s way different from the usual side-scrolling Sonic games, but that’s what makes it fun.
The levels are short but intense—you’ll hit switches, ride minecarts, and barely squeeze past collapsing bridges while the timer ticks down. And yeah, you still collect rings, but good luck holding onto them when everything’s trying to kill you. The art style’s super bright and chunky, like a Saturday morning cartoon from the ‘90s.
If you’re emulating it, just know the controls take some getting used to (keyboard or gamepad won’t feel quite like that arcade ball). But once it clicks, it’s a weird, frantic little gem. Definitely one for Sonic fans who don’t mind a curveball.
